Picknickfestival-Nationaldag

Idag är det Sveriges nationaldag. Det är ingen hemlighet att jag inte tycker att det är speciellt nödvändigt med att vi har en sådan. I och för sig är det alltid skönt med en dag ledigt, men jag tyckte bättre om att ha långhelg vid pingst.

Vad som däremot är ett trevligt påfund är "Picknickfestivalen- för mångfald och gemenskap" som arrangeras i Göteborg varje nationaldag. Idag var jag där med Jesper som inte låter sig fångas på bild i någon större utsträckning. Dessutom så träffade vi på  Hanna (det är hon som har tagit alla bilder med min kamera) och Mira.

Snart är det sommarlov.

World Scout Jamboree 2011

This sunday I came home from a wonderful jamboree. It was 12 days in the south of Sweden, with some of the most wonderful people on earth.

The activities and ceremonies where great, but the most important thing, and the one that I'll always remember is all the new people I've met there. To see all different cultures meet at the same place at once, to visit the Faith and Beliefs area, where all religions stood together, side by side was fantastic. To listen to stories from different people all arond the world was amazing.

It's certainly one of the best things I've done in my life.
